Duties/Responsibilities
• Safe operation of vehicles owned by Reid Petroleum.
• Ensure compliance with company, DEC and EPA regulations regarding the transportation, loading and un-loading and handling of petroleum products.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles, report concerns immediately.
• Maintain compliance with company, DEC and EPA regulations regarding mandatory accurate and legible reports.
• Represent Reid Petroleum in a professional manner by performing exemplary customer service skills at all times;
Physical Demands
• Work a 52 hour work week, overtime paid for any time over 40 hours
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time
• Ability to drive long distances
• Ability to read, write and basic math skills
• Ability to follow written and oral directions
• Ability to withstand the effects of adverse weather conditions
• Ability to report information (written or electronic) correctly
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• No sensory aversion to petroleum products
• Valid NYS Drivers License that meets company policy
• Comply with all guidelines under the Drug-Free Workplace Act
• Comply with all guidelines under DOT regulations
• Work near moving mechanical parts
• Fumes or airborne particles
• Toxic or caustic chemicals
• Works with limited supervision

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age
• Experience preferred
• General knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Valid Class A NYS drivers license with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements which meets with company policy
