Classification: Non-Exempt
Full time: typical hours 7:30am-4:00pm; Monday-Friday overtime when directed
Salary: $25-27 pr hr
Reports to: Plant Manager
*Summary:*
Industry leading, 40 year old Buffalo Area Manufacturing Company seeks candidates for a Delivery Driver position.
Must have previous driving experience.
This person will deliver and receive parts, up to and including games, to the end customer.
This is approximately 50 % of job.
This part of the position interacts with our customers and vendors and therefore must have a professional demeanor.
The other duties including retrieving parts and material handling.
*Duties/Responsibilities:*
- Executing the daily tasks and duties as assigned by Plant Manager
- Primary responsibilities include picking up and delivery of parts and games
- Inter and Intrastate driving
- Record and execute the NYS DOT procedures for driving
- Communicates and coordinates with purchasing manager, research and development dept, plant managers, and the sales team
- Learns, adheres, and follows workplace safety regulations

- Possible overnight stay that would planned in advance
- Must be able to operate pallet jacks, and 26 foot box truck
*Preferred Educational and Experience:*
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Previous experience operating a pallet jack
- Minimum 3-5 years of box truck driving experience.
Non – CDL position.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred
*Physical Requirements:*
- Mostly walking, moving and lifting items
- Working in a manufacturing setting with machinery and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 – 75 pounds at times.
- Able to bend, stretch, reach, push and pull parts and products.
