Floral Delivery Driver & BOH Associate

*Full-Time Floral Delivery Driver & BOH Associate* Responsibilities: * Report to store by pre-determined start time.
_Any changes to start time will be advised by Customer Service & Operations Associate at least one day prior.
_ * Deliver flower arrangements using provided delivery route(s) in Wildroot Floral delivery van.
Use of personal vehicle for deliveries may be required if van is being used on event setups.
In that case, driver to be reimbursed for gas ($0.

* Notify store via text/call once a delivery is complete * Notify store via text/call with any delivery concerns (Recipient not home, wrong address, etc.
) and store will work to solve the issue and keep you updated with delivery plan * Light communication with recipients of deliveries to coordinate or resolve small issues * Fill gas in delivery van using Wildroot credit card * Take delivery van through Delta Sonic car wash and interior car wash – Unlimited membership * Assist in tasks in store (once deliveries are finished) such as wedding supply prep/organization, washing buckets, taking out trash, organizing/cleaning boutique, etc.
Candidate Attributes: * Friendly and cheerful attitude * Great sense of adaptability in a constantly-changing young business * Passionate about high-end customer service * May require on-site setup * Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Requirements: * Valid driver’s license * Preferred personal navigation system (Phone, GPS, etc.
) Schedule: * Monday through Friday 10AM-Close _(Store closes at 5:30PM.
Employees generally leave in the 5:45-6PM range at completion of closing tasks.
)_ * The floral industry is seasonal and weekly hours will vary throughout the year, never to fall below 30 hours/week.
Expect to work over 40 hours and possibly as much as 70+ hours/week during busy times.
* _Busiest times of year in floral industry:_ * _Valentine’s Day week_ * _Easter week_ * _Mother’s Day week_ * _Thanksgiving week (Closed Thanksgiving Day and following Friday)_ * _Christmas/winter holidays (Closed Christmas Day though New Year’s Day)_ * _Specific weeks during wedding season (Typically May - October)_ Pay & Benefits: * $15/hour * 40% employee discount at Wildroot * Paid bi-weekly on Fridays.

* 2 weeks Paid Time Off for full-time employees.
Must provide advance written notice of time off request.
* Wildroot Floral does not provide insurance benefits Notes: * Expect 7-15 deliveries per day on average * Driver will drive the Wildroot delivery van – Nissan NV200 - or their personal vehicle * In the unique situation that driver must take their personal vehicle, we will reimburse $0.
50/mile driven.
_Driver must notate starting and ending mileage and submit before payroll is ran for that week.
_ * All deliveries will be made before 6PM.
* We deliver within a 25 mile delivery radius of the store.
Most deliveries are within 15 miles.
