Overview:
The Delivery-Installer is responsible for ensuring the successful installation of commercial kitchen equipment and exceptional service delivery to our customers.
While performing the duties of this role, the Delivery-Installer must comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices.
**PAY RATE: $20-22/Hour (Depending on Exp)**
Responsibilities:
Driving an automatic 26 ft.
box truck (non CDL) or 16ft box truck.
Manually break down freight and receive into computer system.
Assist with warehouse activities when a delivery route is not assigned
Preparation and assembly of equipment for delivery
Manually handle equipment from pallets and load to hand truck to delivery location.
Troubleshooting delivery/installation issues
Small package delivery
Operating a forklift (Certification Required) will certify if needed
Utilize pallet jack to move pallets of product to and from truck to delivery location.
Perform tasks in a safe manner and comply with company policies and procedures.
Attending required safety trainings
Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct during work hours
Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
OSHA 10-hour construction certification a plus (Company paid if certification isn’t current)
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial distribution a plus
Experience in Warehouse/Foodservice related industry a plus
Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and a collaborative work style
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an attention to detail with minimal supervision
Self-motivated
Customer oriented
Minimum 3 month’s experience with driving 16 or 26 foot box truck (non-CDL)
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record
Proficiency in reading layout drawings a plus
Proficiency in use of hand and power tools
Able to operate powered material handling equipment
Ability to lift 75+ pounds and carry 50+ pounds
Primary work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.
The position may require overtime hours, overnight stays, out of town travel and weekend work as needed
