CDL B Driver- Local Delivery ONLY

Scranton’s Thruway Builders Supply is currently hiring a CDL B Driver.
Scranton’s Thruway Builders Supply is a locally owned company that specializes in the retail and distribution of building/construction products within Western New York.
With over 50 years in the Buffalo area and a recent acquisition our company is growing and looking for a dedicated employee to join our team.
Responsibilities: * Operates truck in safe and professional manner on public highways, roads, in the yard area and at various job sites to deliver materials.
Trucks driven include but are not limited to: dump truck and flatbed truck with tailgate forklift.
* Physical work in a warehouse setting when not delivering.
This includes but not limited to, unloading of incoming freight, loading of customers, and building of orders for delivery.
* Local delivery of hardscape and construction materials.
* Assure product quality to the best of the Driver’s ability.
* Obey applicable laws and follow dispatch instructions.
* Must keep vehicle in a clean and orderly condition.
Required Qualifications: * Minimum of 1 year experience driving a truck * CDL Class B flatbed experience required.
* Must Pass a DOT Drug Screen and physical.
* MVR must meet company and DOT standards.
* Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
* Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
* Must be willing to work overtime and rotating weekends when necessary.
* This is a local 449 Union Position This is a full time 40hr/ week position with competitive pay and benefits including group medical insurance, 401K plan, paid time off and holidays.
