*Driver CDL*
*Description:* Responsible for ensuring a timely delivery and pick-up of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.
*Duties and Responsibilities:* include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
* Operates a Class A CDL semi and trailer to ensure safe delivery and pick up of merchandise and automobile parts from customers on assigned routes.
* Completes and documents a proper commercial pre and post trip inspection of vehicle.

* Packs and loads products onto trucks according to company and DOT specifications.
\*
* Inspects all merchandise to ensure company standards and procedures.
\*
* Follows all company safety policies and procedures while operating equipment without causing damage or harm to people, property or equipment.
\*
* May be required to operate certain types of forklifts or heavy machinery with appropriate license.
\*
* Follows all federal and state regulations that apply to transportation of goods such as Logbook, Drive time, Rest Periods, etc.
\*

*Language Ability:*

*Education/Experience:*
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
*Certificates and Licenses: *
Valid commercial driver’s license.
