Two Person Assistant for Stretcher Driver

_*TITLE: Two Person Assist*_ _*JOB STATUS: Full Time*_ _*FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt*_ _*TITLE OF SUPERVISOR: Supervisor of Drivers*_ _*DEPARTMENT: Transportation*_ _*JOB SUMMARY*_ _*This position’s primary responsibility involves assisting driver in transporting clients requiring wheelchairs or stretchers; are picked up and dropped off in a safe and timely manner.
*_ _*ESSENTIAL DUTIES*_ * _*Assists driver with transporting clients to and from destinations; is reliable with good attendance; willing to work as needed; ensures personal appearance is neat, clean and in uniform at all times 75%*_ * _*Regularly communicates with Dispatcher 10%*_ * _*Maintains good condition of van equipment, including, cleanliness of internal and external physical appearance 10%*_ * _*Other duties as requested by supervisor 5%*_ _*REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES*_ * _*Must comply with any state regulations or Aries client/company policies related to health and safety related to working with clients.
*_ * _*Must have strong interpersonal skills.
*_ * _*Dependable and respectful personality characteristics.
*_ _*ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTS*_ _*Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, lifting 50 plus pounds, carrying.
All of the ergonomic requirements must be performed without significant risk of injury to oneself or others, or otherwise demonstrate or explain how one can perform essential functions listed above.
*_ _*QUALIFICATION STANDARDS*_ _*High School diploma or GED preferred, previous driving experience a plus.
