Our dealerships Transportation Department currently has an opening for an energetic, self-motivated, and organized Transporter.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, able to work at a fast pace, and can safely transport RV units.
Dealership experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate who is eager to work.
Essential Functions:
* Move RV inventory of varying size safely between locations
* Use smartphone app to report status of moves
* Maintain the cleanliness and order of Company vehicles and property
* Perform Pre-Trip inspections
* Be familiar with DOT Regulations
* Deliver, level, and hook up RV’s at campsites
* Move vehicles to maintain flow of traffic
* Communicate with supervisor and other dealership staff effectively and efficiently
* Drive/Pull inventory to and from Dealerships, Campgrounds, Customers, and Other Locations
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
*Education, Experience and Work Requirements:*
· High School diploma or GED· Valid Driver’s License with a clean, insurable, driving record· Pre-employment background check, including drug screening.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*
· Verifiable Experience driving RVs/campers preferred (5th wheel, bumper pull, Class-A, Class-C, etc.
)· CDL A/B or R Endorsement required· DOT Medical Certificate required· Perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner· Must be able to prioritize moves in order of importance· Must be a self-starter
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.
