We are a small Family Owned Trucking Company From the Buffalo / west seneca area seeking 2 experienced CDL A truck Drivers to serve our regional customers with a live Load 53ft dry van Trailer in a safe and timely manner in the Northeast region.
Both Drivers will have an opportunity to be home Every weekend and occasionally throughout the week During a 10 hour Break when we have freight coming into the Pittsburgh Area or close to drivers home.
While we seek to Hire the best qualified individual We are Grateful and Glad to review Someone with less desirable experience who is Teachable and willing to Learn.
Responsibilities * Transport finished goods over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers * Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance * Plan routes and meet delivery schedules * Document and log work/rest periods With ELD * Comply with truck driving rules and regulations * Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions * Collect and verify delivery instructions * Report defects, accidents or violations Skills * Proven work experience as a truck driver * Ability to drive long hours and travel * Prefer No recent moving or driving violations * Ability to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) * Valid truck driving license and Medical Card Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $220 - dedicated lane every week full year.
