Full Time Production Floater / Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver directly delivers product to our customers.
This position also provides support to shipping/receiving when necessary, including but not limited to loading and loading vehicles.
*Essential functions - Principal Duties and Responsibilities:* * Provides exceptional customer service by assisting our customers in a friendly, professional manner * Utilizes various Company delivery trucks and equipment * 26’ Straight Automatic Transmission Truck * 16’ E-450/E-350 Automatic Transmission Box Truck * E-150 Automatic Transmission Cargo Van * Transit Van Automatic Transmission * Forklift * Pallet Jacks * Hand dollies * Delivers products * Performs vehicle safety checks * Load and unload product * Conducts minor vehicle maintenance * Completes Driver Trip Logs * Utilizes GPS system to set vehicle routes * May assist with the training of new drivers * Completes all duties in a timely and efficient fashion * Uphold safety at all times, including wearing personal protective equipment: Steal toed work shoes * Must be able to work under limited supervision and independently *QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:* * Must have valid driver’s license in good standing with ability to operate commercial delivery trucks * Proven record of safe driving * Pass & maintain DOT health card * Ability to lift 40 pounds * Ability to utilize GPS technology * Ability to read and comprehend written communication and policy manuals * Ability to read and comprehend invoices and packaging slips * Ability to count and verify inventory, utilizing basic math skills * High school diploma or GED * Forklift experience a plus Once fully trained for driver routes, the employee will be trained to fill in, in the production warehouse as needed.
