Ibanez Stagemaster, model 1902.
From my limited research it would seem that this bass is from about 1961, and quite possibly the first Ibanez electric bass produced.
Short scale (30”), Two Humbuckers, beautiful sunburst finish with authentic relic, honest play wear.
The neck is fat (with dings, and finish loss on back and headstock), the board is rosewood, the frets are in good shape.
Plays pretty good as is, just needs some attention to setup, fret ends etc.

The truss Rod functions properly, tuners stable, the electronics seem fine and functioning properly .

from what I can tell, based in some reverb pics, and other Ibanez page pics, this is all original, down to the pots and cap.
very well made old Japanese Bass.
Comes with a ratty old chipboard case.
