Total rent for this apartment is $1,420; your share will be $500 since your bedroom window has a very nice view overlooking the courtyard.
Utilities are all included, except electricity and Wi-Fi, which we split along with shared household items.
I originally moved here to get my Masters in Voice at Northwestern -- these days, I'm still pursuing an opera career while also working in logistics.
I work out by O-Hare M-F 7AM-3:30PM and am usually home in the evenings, unless I'm also working from home on a given day.
I need to practice singing sometimes, which gets loud, but I'm more than happy to work out an agreement with you so that you won't be disturbed.
We are also expected to recycle and keep the apartment reasonably clean.
The building has a laundry unit on the first floor and also a parking lot for tenants, though a space costs an extra $50/month.
Main requirement is that you have sufficient income to cover all monthly expenses on time and reliably.
The building management company has an application process that includes credit and background check, so please be comfortable with that.
Otherwise, I'm just looking for someone likeable with whom I can enjoy living.
I have a pretty peaceful lifestyle and enjoy things like reading, writing, watching old classic movies, and classical music.
I also work out at the gym 5-6 days a week, so that's extra cool if you have that in common with me.
