Our Commercial Aftermarket team in Aircraft Group is looking for a Product Engineer to join them.
You will report to the Product Engineering Lead and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, New York.
To be considered for the Product Engineer role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
Ideally, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering plus one year relevant technical experience or a Masters of Science Degree in Engineering
Alternately, a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering plus five years of relevant technical experience
Primary support of repair station in East Aurora, New York
Collaborate with engineering staff in global repair stations
Ability to travel between repair stations or customers on occasion (1 to 3 times per year)
Excellent written communication to provide direction and resolve issues by email or other Moog processes
Flexible schedule to meet the demands of a global repair business
As a Product Engineer, you will:
Provide engineering support to both Moog built and designed hardware, along with non-Moog hardware
Provide technical guidance to Assembly and Test personnel or others in need of product knowledge
Troubleshooting of products and test equipment to determine root cause failure
Take leadership for special projects
Support phases of the aftermarket product life cycle including new product introduction (NPI), product transfer, and product delivery
Write clear production assembly/test instructions to operations personnel to maintain efficient production
Support the evaluation and implementation of equipment to meet production requirements
Evaluate processes and methodology for LEAN manufacturing to reduce cost and turn times
Collaborate with cross functional teams to meet delivery expectations
Communicate with customers to answer technical questions and inquiries of the products repaired

Salary Range:
$66,955 - $109,465
Pay Disclaimer:
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location.
Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance.
The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
