We are seeking an experienced Legal Project Manager (case manager, adjuster, or former paralegal) to join our growing team to establish and maintain processes for the management of a high-volume litigation client.
The Legal Project Manager’s job will be to coordinate attorneys and client-specific workflows to ensure compliance with client guidelines, litigation driven and reporting deadlines.
Specific project manager responsibilities include scheduling, tracking and ensuring various legal teams completion of tasks, including investigations, reporting, pre-trial discovery, and monitoring additional specific projects associated with a high volume of litigation work.
You will be the go-to person for organizing and managing deadline tasks associated with the client.
A solid technical background, with an understanding of or experience with management systems or software is required.
Responsibilities:
Determine and define project scope and objectives
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Ability to manage all phases of the project i.
e.
the development of the schedule and work plan; the management of the budget; the monitoring of the project progress and adjusting as needed
Manage and oversee tasks assigned to a group of attorneys and paralegals to maintain client workflow compliance
Maintain excellent client relations during all aspects of legal project management, including complying with client guidelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field
3+ years’ experience in legal project management, project management or other related experience
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to successfully manage projects, including prioritization of a high volume of tasks to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline

Salary is commensurate with experience and skill set.

00 – $30.

00 - $62,400.
00), plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
The anticipated salary range is for candidates who will work in New York City.
The salary offered to a successful candidate will depend upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
