Lippes Mathias LLP is seeking an ambitious attorney with at least three years of experience with a predominant focus on federal income taxation, including taxable and tax-free mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and corporate, partnership, and limited liability company formations.
We work on buy-side and sell-side taxable and tax-free transactions, partnerships and joint ventures, and investment funds.
Our team advises on transactions and complex structuring questions, and reviews and negotiates equity and transaction documents.
This position will provide for a clear path for additional responsibilities and direct collaboration with partners and firm’s Director of Tax motivated to share their knowledge.
Strong communication, analytical and writing skills are required.
Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York State.
An accounting background, LLM, tax court clerkship, investment fund or other tax transactional experience preferred, and experience with US international taxation is a plus.

Salary range DOE: $100,000-$130,000/year
The pay range provided in this listing is a good faith estimate for this position based on the location that we are hiring for.
Criteria included but not limited to, skill level, education, and experience, will determine where a candidate falls within the range.
